According to reports, since China issued a 5G license for commercial use in June last year, basic telecommunication enterprises in Anhui Province have accelerated their 5G planning and deployment, and started construction of 5G base stations in some key areas. As of the end of February this year, the province has built 4492 5G base stations.

In order to support 5G development, the Anhui Provincial Government recently issued a number of policies to support 5G development (referred to as "policy"). The "Policy" mainly includes ten types of policies and measures in four aspects: consolidating the network foundation, fostering industrial ecology, promoting industrial applications, and optimizing the development environment.
The "Policy" supports major investment promotion projects of the 5G industry chain, encourages 5G companies to grow bigger and stronger, strengthens the development of 5G basic materials and component companies, supports the construction of 5G industrial parks, and accelerates the construction of industrial ecology; encourages joint training between key enterprises and universities 5G talents to strengthen intellectual support. For example, subsidies for key R & D and production equipment at the base are 5% of the equipment investment amount, up to 3 million yuan (RMB, the same below).
