[Explanation] After 35 days and nights of continuous struggle, on the afternoon of March 29, a melt-blown cloth production line with an annual output of 500 tons was successfully put into operation at the Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber Plant. By the end of May 2020, 12 melt-blown cloth production lines from Yizheng Chemical Fiber It will be successively completed and put into production, with an estimated annual output of 6,000 tons of meltblown cloth, which will help build China's largest medical mask core material production base.
[Explanation] Meltblown cloth is the "heart" of masks. It is used as a filter layer in the middle of medical masks. It has good filterability, barrier properties, heat retention and adsorption properties. Polypropylene chip feeding, heating, melt-blowing, winding ... After going through multiple production processes, the first roll of melt-blown cloth went off the production line at about 4:30 in the afternoon on the same day.

It indicates that our production line and the entire process have been completely opened. Basically, the products that have come out have initially achieved the expected results. The entire production process, including the operating status of the equipment, is currently relatively good. [Explanation] On February 24, 2020, the Yihua meltblown cloth project was officially launched. On the basis of coordinated operations and priority support by more than 80 domestic suppliers, the construction period was finally completed.

[Explanation] According to the plan, the second production line of Yizheng Chemical Fiber will be completed and put into operation in two days. By the end of April, 8 production lines will be completed. At the end of May, 12 production lines will be fully completed and put into operation. With 18 million medical protective masks, Sinopec will also occupy approximately 15% of the domestic meltblown cloth production capacity, becoming the largest meltblown cloth supplier in China.
