Twitter deleted two tweets of the Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, who questioned the feasibility of quarantine measures aimed at containing the new Corona virus, and the social network considered that they violated its rules.

The far-right leader has released videos showing him mixing with supporters in Brasilia, in violation of his government's social divergence measures to curb the spread of the Corona virus.

Twitter replaced the two tweets with a note explaining why they were removed.

The social network said in a statement that it has expanded its rules related to content management to cover health information that contradicts the information of official sources, which may expose people to the risk of a "Covid 19" epidemic.

In one of the deleted clips, Bolsonaro said to a street seller: "What I heard from people was that they wanted to work." "What I said from the start is that we (will be careful and those over 65 years old should stay at home)."

The seller, in turn, told Polsonaro: "We cannot stand idly by, there is a fear that if you do not die of illness, you will starve," to which the president replied, "You will not die."

In the second clip, the Brazilian president calls on people to "return to normal life", questioning the quarantine measures imposed by some of the country's mayors to cope with the outbreak of the new Corona virus.

"If it continues in this way with the size of unemployment that we will live in, we will later face a very serious problem that will take years to resolve," he said of the isolation measures.

"Life cannot stop in Brazil, otherwise we will be like Venezuela," Bolsonaro told reporters.
