The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, in coordination with the telecom operators in the country (Etisalat, and du), decided to make an additional set of applications available on all networks in the country, exceptionally and until further notice, to the education sector, bringing the number of applications available for free to nine applications so far .

The authority stated, in a statement yesterday, that the availability of these applications comes in the context of the procedures followed to deal with the emerging conditions, explaining that the list of new applications, including: "Google Hangout dead", "Cisco WebEx", "Avaya Spaces", and " Blue Jeans »and 'Slack'.

It is noteworthy that the authority has previously announced that four applications are available free of charge.
