Prior to today's (30th) announcement, some local governments have already handed out grants, and those who receive them can also receive the government's disaster relief. However, in that case, equity issues may arise depending on the region.

Reporter Jeong Seong-jin will deliver this.

All households under 70% of income are eligible for emergency funding.

Earlier, some 1.73 million households of low-income families, who received 850 billion won in consumption coupons from the first supplementary payment, and some 2.63 million, who received special allowances for children under the age of 7, will also receive duplicate support.

The government explained that the primary support is to guarantee the basic life of the low-income class, and this funding is a disaster support fund considering economic stimulus and consumption.

Based on the family of four, if the bottom 70% of income is received, 1 million won is supported, and if it is eligible for livelihood according to the primary supplement, up to 1.4 million won, and if there are two children under the age of 7, receive 400,000 won per child. You will receive up to 3.2 million won.

The problem is overlapping support from the central government and local governments.

In Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, 400,000 won per person in Pocheon city, 100,000 won per person in Gyeonggi-do, and it is announced that it will apply to all citizens.

Eventually, a middle-aged family who receives redundant support from the government and Pocheon City may receive a reversal of 600,000 won more than the family of recipients of basic living in areas without local government support.

Citizens' reactions are mixed across the bottom 70% of income.

[Jang Heung-jae / Dobong-gu, Seoul: It's good for difficult people. .]

[Bae Ji-won / Seoul Gang-gu, Seoul: 70% of Income I don't know what the standard is. First, just pay everything and later… .]

It seems inevitable that the government, which initially did not take into account disaster relief funds, expanded its targets greatly and made an election-conscious policy.
