In order to save the difficult economy with Corona 19, the government decided to give emergency disaster support to about 14 million households, 70% of the total. When all the households in Korea were arranged in the order of making a lot of money, minus 30% in the front, all households were given 1 million won per 4 people. However, in order to save consumption, it is paid in local vouchers or electronic money, not in cash.

First, today's (30th) reporter Hwagang Yoon will summarize the government announcement.

The government, along with local governments, decided to provide disaster relief funds for each household, about 14 million households, which accounted for the bottom 70% of all households.

We support 400,000 won for single-person households, 600,000 won for two-person households, 800,000 won for three-person households, and 1 million won for households of four or more.

For example, in the case of a household with 4 children with 2 children and 45% of the income, a special care coupon is 400,000 won per child, and health insurance premiums are reduced.

Initially, the government offered a way to support only the bottom 50% of households, but the scope of the ruling party's demands expanded.

It is not a method of putting cash into the bankbook, but in order to promote local consumption, it is paid by local vouchers or electronic money operated by each local government.

The central government is divided into 8: 2 with local governments, and the government bears 7 trillion won in cost, while the remaining 2 trillion won is compensated by local governments.

The government plans to reduce the cost of SOC projects, which are difficult to execute due to the aftermath of the Corona 19 budget, from the budget this year, and prepare a second supplementary plan to turn it into the budget for disaster relief, and submit it to the National Assembly after the general election next month.
