The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) announced, in coordination with the telecom operators in the country (Etisalat and du), that an extra set of applications is available on all networks in the country, exceptionally and until further notice, to the education sector, in the context of the procedures used to deal with emerging conditions, and within Its efforts to support distance learning, and take over applications:
Google Hangouts Meet
Cisco Webex
Avaya Spaces
BlueJeans
Slack
This is in addition to the applications that were previously announced made available, namely:
Microsoft Teams
Skype for business
Zoom
Blackboard
Note that the authority will review the list of available applications from time to time.
