The German Lufthansa Aviation Group has turned thousands of its employees in Germany into a part-time work system.


A spokesman for the company said today, that this procedure will be applied to about 31 thousand employees in the hospitality crews, pilots and ground crews, explaining that the work will be conducted part-time until August 31 next.


Due to declining demand for flights due to the "Corona" epidemic, the company was forced to reduce its offers and the offers of all of its subsidiary across Europe.


Lufthansa has announced the suspension of 700 aircraft from its total fleet of about 760 aircraft, indicating that the stopped aircraft will be restarted when the demand for flights increases.
