China Council for the Promotion of International Trade: issued 6,504 force-of-force factual certificates involving a contract value of approximately 632.1 billion yuan

The reporter learned today (26th) from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade that as of March 25, a total of 103 commercial certification authorized institutions across the country's CCPIT have issued a total of 6,454 force majeure factual certificates, involving a contract value of about 632.1 billion yuan.

Affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, many domestic export companies face difficulties such as slow delivery and difficult contract performance. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade issues factual proof of force majeure for enterprises to help them delay delivery deadlines and reduce related responsibilities, thereby better retaining contracts and maintaining stability in the supply chain.

From the current situation of tracking the use of force majeure factual evidence by enterprises, some enterprises' application certificates are only collected as evidence for later use. Some enterprises are still working with During the customer negotiation process, there are also some companies with a near-delivery period, which, based on the premise of friendly negotiation, explains to the customer the impact of the epidemic situation, and uses the proof as part of the evidence chain, and the two parties reach the delay in delivery. It is expected that nearly 60% of the contracts are expected to be retained through delayed performance. (CCTV reporter Wang Shantao)
