The Dubai Economy allowed supermarkets, cooperative societies, groceries, and pharmacies to remain open throughout the day and throughout the week (24/7), provided that the number of shoppers from these stores does not exceed 30% of its capacity, with the need to maintain the social distance specified by two meters Between each customer.

The decision to close applies to the main markets and all establishments and commercial activities spread in all the main and subsidiary streets in the emirate, including commercial centers and shopping centers in all parts of the emirate, in addition to the open markets that include the sale of fish, vegetables and meat, except for the markets of fish, vegetables and meat for wholesale sale and supply .

And the ban will remain based on serving hookah in all licensed cafes. The decision to close for two weeks covers: bodybuilding and fitness halls, amusement parks and spring breaks, in addition to recreational and electronic games halls, cinemas, men's barbershops, women's beauty and massage and spa centers.

The decision to close bakeries, auto repair shops, workshops, laundries and technical and electrical service providers for buildings are excluded from the closure decision. The decision included the closure of restaurants, cafes, cafeterias and food and beverage service outlets, with exceptions that include restaurants and cafes in hotel establishments that provide meals only to guests, in addition to the car order service, food delivery and food transport.
