The Dubai Holding investment group and Meraas yesterday announced the launch of an economic aid package, with the aim of supporting their partners and current customers (individuals and companies) through their corporate portfolio.

A statement stated that the economic assistance package, which exceeds one billion dirhams, was designed to reduce and mitigate the negative effects of the emerging crisis of the "Corona virus" virus on some operating companies and individuals, within the portfolio of projects and complexes of "Dubai Holding" and "Meraas".

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Holding and Meraas said: “We have issued instructions to the relevant teams in Dubai Holding and Meraas to ensure assistance and support to some of our current clients, companies and individuals affected by the virus outbreak. (Coved 19) ».

His Highness added, "This initiative comes from our firm commitment to our societal and economic responsibility to support our partners during crises and exceptional circumstances, and we will work to design detailed economic aid and support packages for the parties affected by the crisis in the sectors in which we operate."

Dubai Holding and Meraas have formed specialized teams whose mission is to review the specific requirements of those affected by the repercussions of the “Corona” outbreak, and to study each case separately, to ensure that they provide adequate stimulus and economic support.
