Emirates Airlines said that passengers holding passports from selected countries will obtain visas upon arrival at Dubai International Airport.

According to the Dubai Airports Authority website, as of March 17, the UAE authorities have temporarily suspended the issuance of all entry visas except for holders of diplomatic passports, and this does not apply to travelers who have visas issued before March 17.

The Foundation stated that travelers who hold passports from the following countries can continue to travel to and from the Emirates, and the list includes all of the countries, Australia - Austria - Belgium - Brunei - Bulgaria - Canada - Croatia - Cyprus - Czech Republic - Denmark - Estonia - Finland - France - Germany - Greece - Hong Kong - Hungary - Iceland - Ireland - Italy (from Rome only) - Japan - Latvia - Liechtenstein - Lithuania - Luxembourg - Malaysia - Malta - Monaco - Netherlands - New Zealand - Norway - Poland - Portugal - Romania - San Marino - Singapore - Slovakia - Slovenia - South Korea - Spain - Sweden - Switzerland - the Atekan-United Kingdom - United States of America.

According to the Foundation, upon arrival at Dubai International Airport, all passengers will be subjected to a thermal (non-intrusive) scanning process by cameras, while passing through customs, with the exception of those coming from a specific number of countries who will undergo thermal examination and nasal smear.
