Etihad Airways has released a video showing the airline's sterilization mechanisms to provide safe flights for its passengers, including aircraft sterilization, facilities, and transportation services to the plane.
A spokesman for Etihad Airways said that sterile and sterile substances are used at the same time and are effective for eliminating 99.99% of germs, bacteria and viruses that include Covid-19 virus, noting that the effectiveness of the active substances used lasts up to 10 days.
He noted that sterilization operations include all facilities of the plane, booths and even the belly of the plane (freight), as well as covering all areas of passenger transit, such as buses to transport passengers to the gates.
He pointed out that the carrier relies on the use of high-efficiency air filters that remove 99.97% of viruses, and these filters work to renew the compartment air every 3 minutes.
