Tourism projects, of which the largest total investment is Zhanjiang Wuchuan Dinglong Bay International Marine Resort, with an investment of 60 billion yuan.
Guangdong Province has a total of 1,230 key construction projects in 2020, with a total investment of 5.9 trillion yuan, of which 64 cultural tourism projects have been put into production, continued construction, and new construction projects, with a total investment of over 435.2 billion yuan. In the cultural tourism project, the total investment of 8 ten billion-level projects reached 256.3 billion yuan.
In terms of construction content and scale, these types of cultural tourism projects in Guangdong are mainly eco-tourism resorts, cultural tourism, commercial complexes and paradise. Among them, Zhanjiang Wuchuan Dinglong Bay International Marine Resort single project includes theme parks, hot spring towns, commercial towns, star hotels, sea view apartments, and other formats, which is the most format project.
It is understood that Dinglong Bay, which was listed as a key construction project in Guangdong this year, is also a key project of Guangdong ’s tourism industry during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" and is also one of the representative projects of Guangdong coastal tourism. According to the relevant person in charge of Dinglong Bay International Marine Resort, the project is planned to cover an area of about 25,000 acres and has a coastline of 16 kilometers. It is jointly built by many well-known enterprises at home and abroad.
Dinglong Bay plans to build three theme parks: Desas Water World, Wildlife Kingdom, and Ocean Kingdom, as well as international brand hotels, international medical centers, and international conference centers.
