US exchanges closed down sharply to 9.3%

According to the data at 16:00 local time (23:00 Moscow time), the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) fell by 9.33% to 21355.73 points, NASDAQ - by 7.85%, to 7327.453 points, S&P 500 - by 4.54%, to 2510.48 points.

After the official close of trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped to 9.99% - 23552.27.

According to RIA Novosti, such a sharp drop in exchanges has become the worst since 1987.
