Applications and web services that provide real-time information about the location and quantity of sales that sell public masks, such as pharmacies and post offices, begin on the 11th morning.

According to the Korea Information Technology Agency (NIA) and app developers, more than 10 developers, including Gooddak, wear masks, my masks, and colo colo masks, will start providing services on public mask sales at 8:00 am on the day.

The Korea Information Society Agency sent a letter to the developers the day before, requesting that the information regarding the public mask API be used internally from 7:00 pm on the 10th and the formal service start from 8:00 am on the 11th.

As a result, App Gooddak, which informed pharmacy hours, created an area called 'mask scanner' within the app and developed a website with the same name.

Simultaneously inform the pharmacy location and mask inventory information for that pharmacy on the app and on the website.

These developers plan to provide mask inventory information in four stages with color.

Show mask retention by pharmacy as 'out of stock (gray)', 'less than 30 (red)', 'less than 100 (yellow)', 'more than 100 (green)', etc.

Portal companies such as Naver and Kakao are also promoting mask information provision services through their map apps, Naver Map and Kakao Map.

Naver is considering ways to search for pharmacies on the map of Naver, guiding pharmacy branches with masks or disclosing mask inventory.

Naver will use its cloud service to provide a data API server for free, allowing college students and non-professional developers to create publicly available apps.

Kakao will also begin developing functions to inform Kakao Map of pharmacy information and mask inventory status.

We will also disclose this information on the portal site Daum and KakaoTalk.
