For the moment, the Egyptians do not seem to give in to the psychosis of the coronavirus. An attitude which is explained by an ancestral fatalism and especially by a communication hitherto well controlled. The media, including news channels, distill information on the coronavirus in a very measured manner and leave a large place for reassuring speech by officials.
