SoftBank Corp. announced that it will launch 5G services, the next generation of high-speed, high-capacity communication standards, starting this month. This is the first time a domestic mobile operator has released service details.
To use it, a compatible smartphone is required, and the usage fee for 5G will be free for 2 years.
5G is expected to be widely used not only in the entertainment field such as video distribution, but also in telemedicine.
