“The heads of OPEC delegations held regular consultations and decided to recommend an extension of the proposed additional production adjustment by 1.5 million barrels per day until the end of 2020, instead of until 30 June 2020,” the organization said.
Earlier, Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangane said that OPEC ministers at the end of the meeting recommended an additional reduction in oil production in the second quarter of 1.5 million barrels per day.
