As part of his pastoral formation, Robert Sirico (New York, 1951) was assigned a semester to a popular pot. Every Friday, he and another seminarian traveled to Anacostia, a neighborhood in Washington, mounted a refectory in the basement of a Baptist church, served the ranch, gave conversation to those who came to lunch and then left everything clean and collected . The motto of the sister who led that project was "Whoever wants to come, can come." We had to attend to everything
