The former boss of the Renault-Nissan alliance Carlos Ghosn, suspected of having organized two private parties at the Palace of Versailles, is the subject of a preliminary investigation into suspicions of abuse of social property.

Nearly a year after the opening of a preliminary investigation into suspicions of abuse of social property at Renault targeting in particular its ex-boss Carlos Ghosn, the Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) prosecution announced Wednesday that it had transmitted the investigation to an examining magistrate. The former boss of the Renault-Nissan alliance is particularly suspected of having organized two private parties at the Palace of Versailles, in exchange for a sponsorship agreement signed between the brand with the diamond and the establishment that manages the castle. This opening of judicial information comes two and a half months after his incredible flight from Japan where he is accused of financial embezzlement.
