The Ministry of Defense officials confirmed that a patient diagnosed with the 27th new coronavirus infection in Korea (new corona) did not receive diagnostic tests at screening clinics despite the history of visiting China.

The government called it a "bad part."

Chung Eun-kyung, head of the National Defense Agency, told reporters on the 10th that the 27th patient (37 year old woman, Chinese) received a screening clinic on the 5th. "There is no pneumonia on radiography, so I'm not classified as a doctor."

"At that time, when I visited China, I had pneumonia, so I was classified as a suspect patient.

Earlier, the patient was not screened at the airport quarantine because of her husband's 26th patient (a 51-year-old male, Korean) who came via Macau when returning from China.

Twenty-five patients (73-year-old women, Koreans) also said they had a family in China when they first visited the screening clinic around 9 am on the 7th, but they did not have a new corona test.

Patient 25 is the mother-in-law of patient 27.

At this time, the doctors found that the case definition was expanded to apply the test if suspected of being a new corona patient.

Eventually, patient 27 was confirmed as a new corona the next day after returning to the screening clinic.

Chung said, "There is a pity." Patient 25 was initially suspected of being suspected by a doctor's opinion at the time of screening treatment.

"It seems that the test was not done that day and the test was done the next day," he said. "It seems to be a time when the entrusted and requested parts were not properly arranged as the test was expanded to private medical institutions."
