It is reported by the State Food and Beverage Service of Ukraine.

“According to an operational report from the European Commission last night, the import of poultry meat, poultry meat products and thermally unprocessed poultry products from Ukraine to the EU has been temporarily suspended. At the same time, eggs and egg products do not fall under these restrictions, ”the statement says.

At the same time, the Ukrainian department noted that Ukraine, as a member of the World Trade Organization and the World Organization for Animal Health, urgently warned its international trading partners about the case of bird flu.

“Ukrainian measures to control and eliminate bird flu have been recognized as equivalent to those carried out by EU member states ... this EU decision is staggeringly unexpected for the Ukrainian side,” the report says.

In November, the Polish authorities proposed depriving Ukraine of the preferences that it provides as part of the supply of grain crops, in particular corn, to the EU market.
