Consumer price index rose 0.7% in December 8:45 on January 24
The consumer price index last month and last December, which looks at prices of goods and services consumed at home, rose 0.7% compared to the same month in the previous year, excluding fresh food. Also announced last year, the CPI rose 0.6% compared to the previous year.
