A report by «dnata Travel Agency» showed the UAE issued the most popular destinations for travelers from the UAE, who booked with them during 2019.
The agency said in a statement yesterday that the other most popular destinations were Thailand, then Turkey, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, Italy, Egypt, Switzerland and Azerbaijan.

She added: «Thailand remained a preferred option for international travel, as it is a destination that offers city and island life throughout the year. Dnata Travel experts expected, according to current reservation trends, that Russia, Vietnam, Japan, Seychelles, Mauritius, and Sri Lanka will gain increasing demand from the UAE in 2020, noting that travel to Russia recorded significant growth in 2019, and growth will continue in The new year, especially to Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as to the city of Sochi, which has begun to gain popularity among visitors from outside Russia.
Dnata Travel stated that, as a celebration of the New Year, it offers integrated programs from the UAE to selected destinations including Russia, Thailand, Egypt and the United Kingdom, at prices starting from AED 2020.
