He explained that the center sets a system for determining the humanitarian cases due for assistance, the first of which is to fill the owner of the humanitarian situation with a form of the “Hand of Good Committee” to help the defaulters, which includes a report on the humanitarian situation and its observations, and guidelines are also established for the committee to judge the case, including the value of the owner’s salary The case, and whether it is within the categories that have priority in assistance, does the owner of the case support a family or not, and is he obligated to pay or has other properties or a commercial license, as well as other debts other than rental arrears.
Anouhi indicated that among these cases is a humanitarian case received by the center, and returns to a resident of the Filipino nationality who applied for her assistance in a commercial implementation file, in which she was sentenced to pay for a rental value estimated at 294.4 thousand dirhams, where the applicant (owner) refused to settle Initially, but after the case study it was found that she is married and reaches the age of 50 years on the sponsorship of a company with a valid residence permit for an office employee and has a work arrest certificate, and has medical reports from the Dubai Health Authority stating that she has a cancerous tumor classified as a dangerous type, and she does not have a breadwinner Through the committee’s communication with the applicant and after Strenuous efforts The applicant waived the file, suspended all legal procedures, and closed the implementation file in exchange for recovering an amount of 100 thousand dirhams, and accordingly the committee decided to present the case to the head of the center and issued a decision to pay only 50 thousand dirhams, and the applicant agreed with the amount and the settlement was finally closed.
He pointed out that the center opens the door for people with humanitarian cases, by submitting an application to the “Hand of Good Committee”, in which they clarify their problem, so that the committee will decide its role in the request, rejecting or accepting, indicating that after the social study of the cases presented, and with the knowledge of the specialized authorities in The center is classified and submitted to the committee, and accordingly financial aid is provided.
Humanitarian cases are presented after completing all the papers to the head of the center for approval.
