With more than forty million views on Youtube, Raja Meziane actually signed the song Allo the system , which was the soundtrack for the Algerian Hirak. The clip is partly shot in the Prague metro and the rest is made up of images of the first demonstrations in Algeria.

The text is uncompromising; the determined flow and the striking refrain call for a true democracy. Hello the system is an effective track, which has reached a large audience and which has earned Raja Meziane to be ranked by the BBC among the 100 most influential and inspiring 100 women of the year.

The other consequence is that Raja Meziane is now very popular on social networks. It has more than a million subscribers on Instagram , tens of thousands on Facebook and Twitter. Raja Meziane follows the revolution from Prague on social networks. This can sometimes be a double-edged sword when propaganda images are published virally, including images of voters at polling stations . She therefore blocked her Twitter account during the recent highly contested presidential election .

And for about a week, Raja Meziane has again blocked his Twitter account at regular intervals, to avoid giving a forum to unwanted messages. She should perform on several European stages in the coming weeks, and in particular on March 8 (Women's Day) in Paris for a concert organized at the Institut du monde arabe.
