“We confirm that Gazprom has received $ 2.918 billion in compensation in accordance with the 2018 Stockholm arbitration award,” the company said in a Facebook statement.
The Ukrainian company also said that the parties continue negotiations on the terms of further cooperation after the completion of the existing contract on January 1, 2020.
Previously, Gazprom announced that it had paid Naftogaz $ 2.9 billion by decision of the Stockholm arbitration as part of the settlement of the gas transit dispute.
