It is Ukraine that benefits from this transit, because it will annually receive the amount from the transportation of Russian gas, and will provide its population with cheaper gas, ”the senator said.
Dzhabarov also noted that relations between Ukraine and Russia in the gas issue will not change - "the agreement was signed and it will be implemented."
Earlier, Naftogaz announced a risk that Russia agreed to continue gas transit through Ukraine in order to continue the construction of Nord Stream 2.
