Mediapro, the producer of which Jaume Roures is a reference partner, buys El Terrat, a well-known content factory created around Andreu Buenafuente. The Catalan audiovisual sector is readjusted with this great acquisition, advanced by Variety and confirmed by EL MUNDO.
Buenafuente controlled the whole of El Terrat, from which Jordi Évole had separated, currently in charge of Producciones del Barrio. The showman, however, will remain in the production company, which is now integrated into The Mediapro Studios. Laura Fernández Espeso, corporate director; Javier Méndez, Content Manager; and Javier Pons, television director, are in charge of that branch of Mediapro, in which the historical producer of Globomedia series is integrated.
