The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has stated that registration fees for accreditation for Internet domain names (.e) or (. Emirates) are estimated to be 13,000 dirhams, including 3,000 dirhams, non-refundable application fees, 5,000 dirhams, accreditation fees, and 5,000 dirhams annual renewal of accreditation fees.

The authority explained that once the registrar becomes certified, it must deposit the full sale price of the domain name with a minimum of 30,000 dirhams, and start operations.

The «Telecommunications Regulatory Authority» added that there are five main conditions for accreditation, including that the applicant has a commercial license or a commercial license valid for the company, in addition to obtaining insurance coverage for the operations and activities of the registrar, in addition to the registrar being accredited to the Internet Organization for the assigned numbers and names known as « any person".

She added that the conditions also include that the accreditation applicant should have a clear marketing plan regarding (ae.) Or (. Emirates) covering the first year of accreditation, in addition to having practical experience in this particular field.

The authority stated that registration owners who register their domain names are required to confirm their acceptance of all domain name management policies at the time of registration, and to reaffirm approval upon renewal.

She pointed out that the registration of domain names (.ae) and (. Emirates) is done by one of the accredited registrars or their mediators, so that registrars are required to provide clear links to Internet domain name management policies on their websites, and it is incumbent upon registrants to ensure that the policies are applied correctly at the time of registration And renewal as well.

The authority indicated that the registrar is an individual or entity accredited by the Internet Domain Name Administration to work on behalf of the owners of the registration for the purposes of registering, renewing and amending the domain names in the registry (.e) or (.imarat), provided that the registrars provide services to the applicants for registration to maintain the private domain names They are in the registry system (.ae) and (.imarat), and provide services to update the registration information for the registered owners.

The authority confirmed that accredited registrars have direct access to the registry database managed by the Domain Name Administration (.ae), and registrants can purchase domain names (.e) or (.imarat) at a "wholesale" price provided by the domain name management (.ae) .
