His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, received yesterday at the Palace of the Sea, Governor General of Australia, General David Hurley.
His Highness started the meeting by welcoming General Hurley, noting that his visit to the Emirates is in the interest of strengthening the existing relations of cooperation, partnership and friendship between the two countries and the two friendly peoples in various fields.
His Highness wished David Hurley success in his new assignments as governor-general of Australia, serving his people and achieving his aspirations.
The meeting dealt with bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them in all fields, in addition to developments in the regional and international situations, issues and files of common concern to both countries.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed stressed during the meeting that the UAE-Australian relations are strong and growing, and witnessed qualitative developments at various levels.
