The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority launched a digital platform to receive communications related to suspicions of financial and administrative violations in government entities, to enhance the competitiveness of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and to establish investor confidence in its attractive environment.
A statement issued yesterday stated that the launch of the platform comes in compliance with the leadership directions to achieve the highest levels of transparency and the application of best governance practices in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority Chairman Hamad Al-Hur Al-Suwaidi stressed that the platform to receive communications related to financial and administrative violations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is a new tool, confirming the commitment of the Abu Dhabi government to enhance transparency, accountability and integrity in the use of government resources, to serve the emirate and achieve its interests.
He added: “The launch of the new platform, which was developed after carrying out benchmarking studies and accurate analyzes of best practices in the field of identifying and analyzing all types of financial and administrative violations, will provide an effective and integrated system that enables us to deal with violations quickly and efficiently, and to develop radical solutions for them to make sure Not to repeat it.
He continued: «The platform enhances the role of customers with government agencies, and does the role of society as a whole in monitoring any financial or administrative violations and reporting them, whether they are related to the employees of these agencies or their practices, in line with the approach and commitment of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority to adopt best governance practices, and higher application Transparency standards, in a way that raises the competitiveness of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and enhances the confidence of investors and society. ”
At the current stage, 17 government agencies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi are committed to applying the digital platform to receive communications.
