Following the blockages of Black Friday, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Economy, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, believes that the French are able to "control their consumption".

INTERVIEW

Black Friday was in full swing Friday, between XXL promotions and rallies of activists denouncing overconsumption. Invited from Europe 1 Saturday morning, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Secretary of State to the Minister of the Economy, estimated that the ban on Black Friday, mentioned in particular by Delphine Baltho, president of Génération Ecologie, would be only a "demagogic" measure that "would bring nothing to the subject": "People are adults, it is up to them to control their consumption."
