“The respondents are rather optimistic about the future state of Russian business: more than half of them (56%) believe that it will develop successfully in the next 30 years,” RIA Novosti quotes the study.

About 19% of those polled believe that business will be degrading in the country in the next 30 years, and 20% will remain in their current state.

Businessmen who note that doing business in Russia over the past 30 years has become easier, explain this primarily by increasing the availability of services (45%), the absence of crime (18%) and the availability of great opportunities (18%). Those who believe that the business situation in Russia has worsened over the past 30 years attribute this to high taxes (30%) and administrative barriers (24%).

Earlier, the head of the Russian Ministry of Finance, Anton Siluanov, during a government meeting, proposed reducing the number of control and supervision bodies in the country as part of optimizing the staff of civil servants.
