“Now there is an exchange of commercial offers, you know what, in particular, Miller said yesterday after Putin’s meeting, our proposals were formulated and transmitted to the Ukrainian side, we are in time trouble, there’s not enough time,” he said.

Peskov also noted that Naftogaz, after creating a separate operator of the gas transmission system of Ukraine, should draw up a new structure and carry out all necessary procedures. A spokesman for the Russian president added that the Ukrainian side “still needs to reserve the required number of volumes.”

He specified that all this takes time. Peskov added that work is ongoing.

Earlier, the head of Gazprom Alexei Miller, following a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that Ukraine needs to resolve issues with the new GTS operator to continue the transit of Russian gas.
