According to her, possible US sanctions may become an “additional tool” in negotiations on the transit of Russian gas.

Earlier in the US, it was noted that Congress could include sanctions against Nord Stream 2 in the defense budget for 2020.

In early July, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky announced that US President Donald Trump would be able to resolve the Nord Stream 2 issue in Ukraine’s favor.
