According to the data obtained by Emirates Today, the Saudi capital of Riyadh ranked among the top destinations in the UAE in terms of weekly seat capacity, followed by Kuwait, London Heathrow in third place and Mumbai in fourth place.

National airlines account for 78.4% of the total seat capacity on the UAE market, compared to 21.6% for foreign airlines.

Emirates ranked first in terms of seat capacity in the local market, followed by Etihad in second, flydubai and Air Arabia in third and fourth.

Commercial airlines accounted for 77.7% of seat capacity in the UAE market, compared to 22.1% for low-cost airlines.
