UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2019) today.
His Highness also stopped at a number of platforms of the participating countries and companies, which include 2200 governmental and private companies from around 60 countries, including the UAE.
His Highness began his tour of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) platform where he listened to Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of State and CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and its group of companies and officials to explain the work and development of oil and gas wells in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Onshore and offshore are the latest technologies that are used to explore and develop onshore and offshore oil and gas fields.
His Highness then continued his tour of the exhibition and was acquainted with a number of national and international companies specialized in the oil and gas sector, including "Total" French and other British, American, Chinese and Japanese companies showcasing their latest technological innovations in the energy industry.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his delight at visiting this exhibition, which he described as a distinguished global platform for the energy sector and hosted by the UAE for nearly 35 years, which confirms the role of our country and its impact on the global economy and development and maintain the stability of the global market and the supply of oil and gas.
His Highness said that the exhibition promotes business tourism in our beloved country and contributes to the coordination of trade movement, especially retail markets and is a good opportunity to meet and acquaint with all those interested in this vital sector of producers, consumers, experts, businessmen and investors, which creates opportunities to build regional and global investment partnerships that contribute significantly to the development and prosperity. The global economy and then create job opportunities for Arab and international youth, especially creators, specialists and scholars of energy, science and technology.
He concluded by stressing that our country is a country of investment opportunities and career and human relations and we are keen as a leadership, government and institutions to develop and strengthen them through the organization and hosting of such events such as exhibitions, conferences, festivals, trade, cultural, tourism, sports and others.
