The BBVA group obtained a net profit of 3,667 million euros between January and September, 15.2% less than a year earlier, due, in part, to the lack of extraordinary income that was recorded in 2018 by the sale of BBVA Chile .

In a fact referred to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), BBVA has stressed that the results have been obtained thanks to a generalized growth in revenue of a more recurring nature, and the continued containment of operating expenses.
