The UAE entrepreneur, Mohammed Ahmed Kamalpur, launched his project “Money Exhibition for Antiques Trade” to express his personal passion for Islamic history and art. The project aims to sell and buy old coins from various Islamic eras and before.

The project also focuses on the segments of customers interested in Islamic and archaeological history, providing them with the opportunity to acquire artifacts at prices that attract all categories.

He said that Dubai has an important footprint in the global market, and that it could also be a platform for the trading and sale of Islamic artifacts and a market for Islamic art based in the Middle East, pointing out that the project began as a personal passion for history and money science.

Kamalpur told his story with antiques, saying that he began his journey in 2012 when he read about Islamic money by chance in a newspaper, and began collecting Islamic and non-Islamic archaeological coins, pointing out that he had learned many books and volumes printed and specialized in this area, and the project has been a success in the years The result is the growth in the number of hobbyists in particular and the market in general.

He added that he decided to license and register his project with the Dubai Economy, through a license «trader», and through the website of Dubai Economy. He continued: «I was delighted to obtain the license because of its many advantages, where it turned (money exhibition for the trade of antiques) from a hobby to a business, and facilitated the official transactions, including import transactions and others».

The business of collectibles, artifacts and original artworks includes the sale of paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, handicrafts, rare works, old cameras and accessories. It also includes promotional and marketing activities for such businesses, such as advertising and public relations, to be conducted by licensed advertising companies.

Kamalpur stressed that the sales of the exhibition “Money for antiques trade” is not limited to the UAE, but that the project has sales in more than 40 countries around the world.
