The Expo 2020 Dubai office confirmed that the upcoming event will be a unique experience that opens its doors to the world on 20 October 2020, inviting people from all over the world to join and test the event which will last for six months.
The exhibition will be full of events highlighting creativity, innovation, humanity and global cultures, and will be an opportunity to create and renew links that will be strengthened and deepened throughout 2020 and beyond.
Expo 2020 Dubai said that the exhibition is based on the firm conviction that progress and innovation can only be achieved by investing human abilities and creative ideas in innovative ways, hence the key concept of 'Connecting Minds and Creating the Future'.
Expo 2020 Dubai aims to encourage people to embrace the spirit of innovation for at least another 50 years. Over the past 50 years, the UAE has stunned the world with its rapid growth and amazing achievements. In March 2016, Expo 2020 Dubai unveiled its new logo, inspired by a ring found at the Sarouq Iron Archaeological Site, where the UAE was and still serves as a link between ancient civilizations.
