The number of employed persons increased by 69,400 people during the third quarter of the year, to 19,874,300 workers, in the worst evolution for this quarter of the last six years, since 2013 .

According to data from the Active Population Survey (EPA) published Thursday by the National Statistics Institute (INE), the number of unemployed decreased by 16,200 people in the third quarter, which is the worst figure for this period since 2012 , when it increased.

This decrease places the number of unemployed at 3,214,400 , which reduces the unemployment rate by one tenth to 13.92%, down from 14% for the first time in ten years.
