The construction of block No. 1 of ed-Dabaa NPP is planned to begin in the second half of 2020. The project is currently undergoing licensing.
The nuclear power plant will consist of four power units of 1200 MW each.
It is planned that the first block of the station will be commissioned in 2026.
Earlier, the Director General of Rosatom State Corporation Alexei Likhachev said that Hungary approved the technical design of the Paks-2 nuclear power plant, which will be built with the help of Russia.
