The first string of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline began to be filled with gas

According to RIA Novosti, this step is the last stage of the gas pipeline testing before commissioning.

“The filling of the first of the two strands of the offshore section of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline with natural gas has begun. This is the final stage of testing before putting the pipeline into operation, ”the press release said.

It is specified that the commercial use of the Turkish Stream should begin before the end of this year.

Earlier, Serbian President Alexander Vucic, during a meeting with Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko, said that part of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline passing through Serbia would be completed before the end of the year.

The leading expert of the National Energy Security Fund, a teacher at the Financial University under the Government of Russia, Igor Yushkov, in an interview with the FBA “Economics Today” assessed the prospects of the “Turkish Stream”.
