Etihad Airways has celebrated the launch of a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on its daily flights to Milan, Italy, with a special ceremony at Palazzo Clerici.

According to the company, the Boeing 787-9, a two-class system with 299 seats, will be one of the first Dreamliner to offer spacious tourist seats.

Etihad Airways announced that it chose Milan Mpisa Airport to be its first destination in Italy in September 2007.In September 2019, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner was allocated to support demand, reflecting the airline's commitment to the Italian market.

Robin Camark, Chief Commercial Officer, Etihad Aviation Group, said: “Since our inaugural operations between Milan and Abu Dhabi in 2007, Etihad has transported more than 1.4 million guests to and from the city, while the destination continues to attract many passengers. For work and recreation ».
