Russia and Saudi Arabia intend to increase trade turnover to $ 5 billion

Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin said Russia and Saudi Arabia plan to increase trade between the countries to $ 5 billion by 2024.

“The goal that stands is to increase trade between our countries to $ 5 billion - this was discussed today at the talks - by 2024. In principle, we are discussing that by 2030 this may already be a double-digit value, significantly more than $ 10 billion, ”he said.

According to him, Russia can significantly increase the supply of agricultural products to the Arab country and reach an indicator of $ 2 billion in this matter.

The minister also added that Russia could supply metallurgy, woodworking, and mechanical engineering products to Saudi Arabia.

Earlier it was reported that following the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdel-Aziz Al Saud signed more than 20 documents.
