The General Assembly of Abu Dhabi Aviation, which held yesterday, approved the amendment of seven articles of the company's statute.

The company, in a disclosure on Monday, to the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, said that the Association approved the amendment of Article 8 of the company's articles of association, to allow non-UAE nationals to own 30% of the company's capital, after the ownership was limited to citizens only.

The Association also agreed to amend Article 5, allowing the company to own, operate, exploit and lease drones remotely, to provide aeronautical and aviation training services, to provide aviation consultancy services, to provide aircraft maintenance services, to own, manage, operate and invest in any assets or Rights, works, interests or companies inside and outside the State.

The amendment of this article allowed the company to establish subsidiaries and to own shares, stakes or other interests in companies, entities or projects inside or outside the country, so that these projects are linked to the company's objectives.

The amendment gave the company the right to enter into agreements with banks, financial institutions and credit agencies regarding the financing of the company's activities such as issuing guarantees and granting guarantees on its assets, including its shares or shares in its subsidiaries.
