The Tokyo foreign exchange market and the yen exchange rate on the 10th were modest price movements.
The yen exchange rate as of 5:00 pm was 1 dollar = 107.40 yen to 42 yen, which was 19 yen weaker than the 9th.
Compared to the 9th, the euro was 61 yen weaker against the euro, 1 euro = 118.31 yen to 35 yen.
The euro was 1 euro = 1.1016-17 dollars against the dollar.
A market official said, “In the morning, there was a series of foreign media reports over the ministerial-level negotiations over trade issues between the United States and China. “There is a lack of trading materials and the number of investors who refrain from trading to determine the outcome of the negotiations has increased, so the price movement has been limited.”
