At the same time, Handoga suggested that the Bulgarian side be redirected to the question of whether the country would be ready to receive gas from the Turkish Stream by this time.

“We will be ready to supply them with gas ... If the Bulgarians are ready to receive gas, then, accordingly, there will be gas for them,” the representative of Gazprom said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that there were no political reasons for the Nord Stream 2 and Turkish Stream projects.

In September, the Supreme Court of Bulgaria removed the obstacle to receiving gas from the Turkish Stream.
